​

As a TOPS Trainees, you will conduct mentored health services research within one of three clinical content areas:

  • cancer prevention and early detection

  • cancer diagnosis and treatment

  • palliative care and survivorship

Methodologic Themes

 

TOPS Fellows will work with a primary mentor from a large and diverse faculty of researchers across the 7 institutions of the DF/HCC who have expertise in a variety of health services research methodologies including

  • qualitative research, survey research, and patient-reported outcomes

  • observational research including comparative effectiveness and pharmacoepidemiology

  • intervention studies

  • clinical informatics, mobile/electronic health and machine learning/artificial intelligence

  • implementation science

  • health policy, health economics, and decision science
